In addition to the moon being a perfect addition to nearly any haunt scene, our Moons have also been used in museums, casinos, TV programs, theatrical productions, amusement parks and more.
Like all i-Zombie products, our Moons are built to last. We use heavy gauge ABS plastic which is molded to hold the 1/8” thick acrylic lens which has the photo-quality image printed directly on it. The virtually unbreakable, long-life LED light source creates an even dispersal of light behind the picture to eliminate dark areas. The unit is then sealed up so that it may be used inside or outside.
We initially thought that most folks would be using the moon outdoors, so we incorporated the two eyebolts at 10 and 2 o’clock. This is so it could be strapped in a tree and not be flopping around in the wind. However, other folks wanted the unit to hang in their home theater, living room, bedroom etc. and did not want eyebolts on the unit. We can instead put a reinforced hole in the back of the unit so it can be hung on a nail or other picture hanging device. Just let us know when you place your order and whether you want it without eyebolts.
